Prunus cherry is a deciduous hardwood species originally from Europe and Asia. Its timber has a fine straight grain and ranges in colour from light pink to reddish brown. Because of this some of our bowls have natural irregularities, holes and bark inclusions which are left to add character and uniqueness. Its timber has many uses that include furniture, wood turning and making musical instruments.
Wood turned Bowls are durable and simple in design are strong enough to handle even your soups or spaghetti as a serving dish or full with your favourite salad. and are beautiful enough to use as art or a display piece. Also make a great gift for wedding's, birthday's, anniversaries or Christmas.
To clean your Bowl/Platter use warn soapy water to clean making sure you dry thoroughly afterwards. Then lightly oil with a food safe oil such as Coconut or Walnut and wipe dry.
Important: never put bowl/platter in the Microwave, Dishwasher or soak in water
